Field Trip October 28

We have had a busy week of learning.

On Orange shirt we listened to several stories about former students of residential schools.  We talked about how students have felt sleeping away from home and they related it to the students who were sent away from their families.  Students reflected on how we can show that everyone matters and is important.
We read some fall stories about leaves and how it is hard to accept the change that the seasons bring.

In Science we are busy Exploring Liquids and did a video project on the Great pacific ocean garbage patch.

In Math we are continuing our number sense activities and increasing our fluency of numbers that make 10.
